Mental patterns are difficult to change because they are deeply engrained in our lives. Our habits therefore reflect the amount of learning we do: the more rigid our habits, the more stale we become. Some schools of thought believe that negative mental patterns are at the origin of 'dis-eases'; the medical background may give an insight, however slight, to the personality of a person, especially regarding recurrent health problems, or whether their complaint has been longstanding or of short duration, etc... Our mental capability establishes goals, which give us a drive and a prospect in life, and help us be fulfilled and evaluate our progress. Finally, our beliefs and mindset about money may decide on the state of our finances: we can talk ourselves into sparing our money, or be mindless and spend it all, even the money we don't yet have. Equally, it was reported that the most successful entrepreneurs were not necessarily the ones who did best at school, but the ones who were encouraged by parents that they 'could make it'...
